  Seventy years ago Jeanne Garr bought the Artemus Ward Estate from Harvard University. Sixty Years ago we bought our property on Midway Road. Fifty years ago we moved to Shelter Island with four kids, two dogs, a cat and a boat. Forty years ago I started selling real estate at Jean Garr's office. She sold one lot a year when her tax bill came to pay that bill!!!!!!! Such a great business woman, so she showed us a lot on Burns Road across from the Presbyterian Manse and next to Klen's International Airport, the rest is history and here I am back in the same office we first set foot in to buy property, only now 45 years later selling it.!!!!!!!
